Experience
Fanaye has a strong background in general musculoskeletal physiotherapy, with experience in sports rehab from her time working with premier Rugby and Rugby League teams in Auckland. She has also completed further training in managing conditions like cervicogenic headaches and lower back pain. Since moving to Melbourne in 2021, she has expanded her expertise in post-operative rehab for knee and hip conditions, working across both private practice and community settings.
Fanaye also has expertise in treating Women’s Health conditions, having completed post graduate training to qualify as a Women’s Health Physiotherapist. Fanaye offers appointments to support women with management of urinary incontinence, bladder incontinence, and overactive bladder, as well as managing pregnancy-related pelvic girdle pain. Fanaye provides essential guidance on safe exercise during pregnancy and during the different stages of menopause. She also provides comprehensive post-natal care, which includes DRAM management, and effective pelvic floor muscle training.
Outside the clinic, she enjoys long walks and quality time with family and friends. A self-proclaimed ‘foodie,’ Fanaye loves exploring Melbourne’s vibrant restaurant scene on weekends, savouring the city’s diverse culinary delights.
